In February 2008, we had new double-hung vinyl windows replaced in our tri-plex as well as new patio doors and front entrance doors. Atlanta Area Window and Door Co. was extremely professional, on time and schedule for meetings and installation, and responsive to our questions and needs. In addition, they stand behind their work quality and offer a warranty for their installation. We would definitely do business with them again, if the need arises.
I had the good fortune of dealing with Atlanta Area Window and Door Co. this past year. They sent a sales rep out to my home who was very kind, professional, helpful, and thorough. In all our dealings with AAWD they have been top notch. By providing us with excellent service and being quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had they made my time spent working with them a pleasure. Their prices are fair and competitive and they gave us an honest deal. I would recommend them to any of my friends or neighbors.
Our sales person was knowledgable, professional, and easy to reach for questions after the visit. He listened to our wants/needs and adjusted his presentation accordingly, fitting us with the right product, and moving on quickly to the next step, so that we got our new windows installed as soon as possible.
After looking at several window companies to replace the windows in our sun room we went with Atlanta Area Window and Door. They were by, by far, the most prompt, friendly and informative. Jaq and the guys that installed the windows were all very professional and easy to work with. We will happily use this company again.
I have had the good fortune of doing business with Atlanta Area Windows and Doors on two occasions and both times they have exceeded my expectations. First, we replaced all of the windows and one door in our house and were expecting to have the process be somewhat disruptive to our home in some way even with a really good company. I am glad to say we were proved wrong on all accounts. From the initial sales consultation with Jim it was just simple, we were not overwhelmed with options that did not interest us. He listened to what we wanted and gave us a no hassle quote. We scheduled the installation and the installers showed up and had the old windows and door out and the new ones in with no mess or inconvenience on our part. They were clean and courteous and we love our new windows! Last fall we decided to get gutter guards installed and when I found out that AAWD had started offering these products they were first to call on my list. Some of my gutters were leaking and I was sure they would tell me I needed new gutters before they could help me. Instead they came in cleaned them out, sealed them up and put the guards on in less than one day. No leaks and NO LEAVES. I completely trust their organization and their work. Professionals from start to finish.
In 2017 my wife and I began making many renovations on our older home. Getting some key windows done along with the front door was a major priority. We chose Atlanta Area Window & Door primarily because they had the best combination of value and quality in what we wanted. They also brought an actual window to our home so we actually saw what was being installed. Although other good companies quoted us, we never received follow-up calls and they seemed a bit expensive based on our budget.
We had 8 windows, front door, storm door and sidelights done. Painting the door was also arranged. Installation crew was fabulous, professional, and fast. The fit and workmanship was outstanding. We did however order a fiberglass door in a very sunny entry area and did have problems with paint peeling. I though maybe door just needed additional painting or the paint was not right for the door. Talked to the painter and this seemed to be same paint used on most doors they painted in the past. I contacted the Company and a gentleman named Dennis (who was always very polite and responsive) came out took pictures back to the owner Mark who said this was very unusual and should not happen. He did indicate it might take awhile (which was OK because the existing door "functioned" OK) but ultimately found a wooden door replacement. Well he did, and I 100% believe Mark spared nothing in trying to get this resolved our satisfaction. The door was significantly better quality and more expensive than the original, but Mark never said we had to pay a price difference. He would not even let us pay for painting! (which I am in process of arranging) He indicated upon seeing the door, it never was right and should not have been installed.
So what is the takeaway here? It is not how you start but how you finish. We did have a minor problem that was handled by a Company that is very customer-focused and in business for the long haul. Will I use them again? You bet!
